The Apparel Advisor is a style blog devoted to being a source of insightful inspiration to females of all ages who love fashion and never shy away from an opportunity to turn some heads. Moreover, it’s a guide for any southern gal who is crazy enough to relocate to the North.
Originally from Florida, I moved to Boston in the fall of 2013, to begin law school. In Florida, a basic sundress is appropriate for 350 of the 365 days in any given year. With that being said, obviously, I had no idea what I was in store for when I relocated to Massachusetts. First, I purchased a value size bottle of Vitamin D. Shortly following, I began to embrace the idea of seasons after the realization that this created an opportunity for a drastic wardrobe expansion, out of necessity, of course!
After three years of law school, as I packed up my last apartment it occurred to me that my wardrobe told its own tale. A humorous one at that, this blog traces my journey from the sea shore to the city streets and elaborates on my experiences as a Florida girl trying to stay warm, yet fashionable in the Northeast.
DISCLAIMER: I’m no fashion connoisseur. I don’t know the difference between chiffon and chambray, but I can keep you appropriately advised on how to look hot, even when it’s cold.
Peace & Blessings,
